Thanks. I thought it was black when I saw it at the dealer for the first time. The wheels are 17" V-Tec Off-Road with 285/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers.

Omar Brannstrom: Do I spot the Bentley of tents (Hilleberg) back there? I have a Saivo myself.

The one thing I hate about my BFG Jeep...damn thing looks black 99% of the time.

But at the same time, I love it when someone catches the light on it at a different angle and they see the Green. I've gotten a lot of compliments on my little chameleon.

Hi

Good spooting, booth are Hilleberg, one Nammatj2, and a Keron GT 3. Even very expensive here in Sweden. They are about 20 years old, still going strong.

Agree looks 99% black, I would like to have dark green color that I can see

I did some serious winter camping before in the swedish mountains.

My home for 17 days, some nights at minus -40 Celcius

here with my Nammatj 2 Hilleberg tent

Wow, you do some serious camping that would send me running back into civilization. I cannot make myself camp when it is below zero. Next year though, I will hike to the Annapurna Base Camp...the Hilleberg will go along.

The Hilleberg tents are beyond compare. Nobody comes close to what they can do. I have owned so many brands, but in bad weather, cold and wind, I'll only use Hilleberg. Great tents, and great company. Cheers!

Here is mine ... I am actually loving the color - doesn't bother me that it looks black most of the time cause that was my favorite color - and when the green comes out it's gorgeous. .
You can see from the first picture that my three angels like it too!
Just returned from a big camping trip with it.

And here it is with a some sunlight on it. It is most interesting though with a little cloud and not direct sunlight on it, and late afternoon / early evening.
The cargo basket is now off until next big camping trip, and getting the soft top on this week.

Thumbs up

It's a Congo Cage by Kargo Master:
Safari Jeeps
Jeep Wrangler TJ Unlimited Racks - 2007 and Up 4-door | Congo Cage by Kargo Master | Safari Jeeps
I was awesome for my camping trip. Make sure you order a net to go with it to secure your load. They actually are not easy to find.
These guys have them, and they also have their own rooftop carrier that looks good:
Wild Boar Cargo Net
I got this one (the T-BungeeCordNet for $39.95) from Talco speicalties in Texas:
Cargo Net: Custom Made (I would get different connections - the ones on this tend to break when hooking them to the railing - I am going to get some snap hooks or carabiners for better securing the load - but am tryingo to find some plastic ones or plastic coated, so there isn't metal rubbing on metal).
If I could do it differently, I would have ordered a strand rope mesh cargo net from them instead, custom to the cargo rack. The openings or smaller, whereas they are 6" square on the bungee net I ordered, and others you will find out there, which is a little too big if you load up some small items in the carrier. I have to say though, there bungee cord net is much better quality them the one I used on my camping trip (the Talco one did not arrive in time).
I live in Vancouver BC Canada, and picked mine up at a little Jeep specialty place here. You can have it shipped directly to you, but unless you are handy, I would have someone install it. There are probalby Jeep specialty shops near you.
And read this:
http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/kar...ack-85734.html

There are other great options like Quadratec and Gobi, but they are quite a bit more expensive. For the money, the Congo Cage is best and very sturdy and well built.
Cheers!
