Black "Jeep" Altitude Grille Emblem

No need to Plasti-Dip your "Jeep" grille emblem anymore. The Altitude "Jeep" emblem comes from Chrysler in powercoat black.

Bought. Anybody installed it yet? Any tips on getting it straight and lined up correctly?

Just line it up with the lines on the grille.... It's easy.

Installed the Altitude emblem on my Gecko. I put masking tape at the edges of the old emblem and use the tape as a guide to install the new emblem. Fishing line works great for removing the old emblem.

That's how the Jeep Elves in the factory do it.

That's how my Toyota Tacoma emblems were attached from the factory and it's how I reattached them after painting them. 3M doesn't just make yello sticky notes. Their High Bond Adhesive (HBA) is never going to come off on its own.

Plasti dip is as permanent as you want it to be. And if for some reason it chips or peels off for some other reason, just respray real quick. Mine looks as good as the day I sprayed it. No reason to go though the trouble of taking off an emblem and applying a new one. But to each his own.

Thanks. I figured it would be, but im the kind of guy who when I write on unlined paper I start on the top and wind up half way down the page. I also just learned that it comes with a clear piece over the front to make it spaced correctly. I thought I was going to have to put each letter on one by one

Or you can get a pair from Pixel Decals in tons of other colors as well. I like the reflective black personally. I'll go with those to replace the fugly silver ones that come on the Commando Green Jeeps.
