Black rock wheels

So I just had my Black Rock wheels put on my rubi...and it seems we have a problem. The center caps that say Black Rock on them have only one functional screw(the other is for looks) and when the installer tightens the one screw, the other side of the center cap lifts a bit. Kind of cheap looking.

Anyone experience this? If so, know of a fix?

Put a washer or two on the screw shaft between the cap and the wheel? Just a thought.

They aren't installed right. I forget now what the fix was, but someone else had the same issue. Maybe they install from the inside? I don't remember, but if you search a little you should find it.

Will be paying close attention to this thread, as am planning on ordering new Black Rocks and Procomp 33"s for my new JKU tomorrow....

I have Black Rocks and the problem you are having is a result of the lug nuts, not the center cap. You need to use open ended lug nuts, not the standard acorn style. Once you change out the lugs the one screw will hold the center cap in place, flush. I got mine from Discount Tire. they should look something like this;

As you can see in the picture, the center caps are now flush and tight.

Winner!

Discount tire sent the wrong lug nuts and are now sending the correct ones. Yea for easy fixes! Thanks Shiner!
