Depends. Personally I would go for a plasti dip. That way if you don't like it, it peels right off. Plus it is easy to do yourself or you can pay like 50 bucks for a professional

If I did not already have a black jeep I would have used the rustoleium version of plasti dip. The pictures I have seen on here look better to me.

There's a rustoleium version?? Never knew that. Could this also be used to spray the underside of the vehicle to prevent rust?

Black monstaliner.

Little bit more expensive, but if you do your prep right it's permanent and durable and you won't have to ever touch it up.

Plasti-dip will need touch up eventually.
Cheap rattle can bedliner will need touch up eventually.

Ask me how I know.

Oh or you could pay a body shop to paint it or wrap it in vinyl.

Another vote for Plasti-Dip.

That way when the whole "blacked out" fad dies out, you can peel it off and fit in with the inevitable retro-chrome fad... or... does the "80's neon" fad come back before that?

check e-bay and craigslist for grills. I saw a couple around here in the $150.00 range. I can't imagine painting over the chrome would be easy. you might even get lucky and find a black one. Then pull the fasteners and snap in the new grill.
