We took the front top off our 13JK, and took to the trails for the second time.
WHAT A BLAST. However, I kept thinking "what if I get stuck, and no one it around? The trail office of the DNR has a failsafe, but man, you are OUT THERE, and pretty much ON YER OWN!
We kept our trailing simple but, at times we ventured into pools we knew not the total depth of before we got in a ways. We had to gage as we went.
We came out of the trails in good shape; if not somewhat muddy.
It was challenging and glad the Wrangler did the trick with minimal complaining! Told my wife, 'there are FEW vehicles capable of what we just accomplished. Virtually rolling over and up small mountains and twisty, rocky turns fraught with danger from 60 ft drop offs on either side.
Tough for me to comprehend all that AND keep it together.
The Jeep was/is one tough SOB I have to say! Mine is pretty much a stock Sport Wrangler.
It has also saved my posterior in several blizzards.
The 4WD has gotten me through AMAZING obstacles!
It does things no car can do! It's a LOT of fun, and more gas than I'd like to use. However, power whenever and however you may need it so, again, it's the price of performance!
The Wrangler is an amazing vehicle!
