Anyone seen the new Body Armor RockStep slider? I'm looking at these and would like to hear any feedback. They look good and wonder if body cladding will fit behind them. Bumper Automotive exterior Gun Vehicle Auto part

Hey doublejk, did you ever get any feedback. I am lookig at a pair of these as well, and there is not much info on them from enthusiasts. I like the functionality of the step with the full protection of the rail.

Well, I picked up a pair that was used for 4 months, and they are very heavy and solidly built. I am Impressed with them, but they are not installed yet. When I get them installed I'll give more feedback. The Previous owner thought the front step was placed a little bit too far ahead, though, but not enough to cause a problem. For what a paid, I am happy so far.

Well, install was easy. I only needed a ratchet set, a couple spanners and a pair of vice grips. They go into the same mounting holes as the original plastic steps. They are really solid and look just like the pictures on the web site.

I'm going to return the Atlas rock slides and get JCR Offroad classic sliders. These Atlas sliders are a tank. They weigh about 65 pounds per side, maybe more. Incredible solid. Problem is they are so high up on the side they don't make a step. You have to drag your but across them to get out. If I were 10 years younger would keep them.
