i really was planning to go with a 3+ inch lift w/ bigger tires...now plans have been changed to just a small lift to accomodate bigger tires. With all the money i'll end up saving, i can add other stuff.

I'd be just fine with a stock sport... the rubi is probably overkill for mall crawling -

For most people it's probably (1) mud or (2) flat tires that are the biggest disadvantage of the stock tires.

@tacojeep, to me.... the rubi's are for frequent offroad users, the sahara's have that "don't get me dirty" kinna look, and the sports are for personalization. Thats just me though. I chose the sport since it already comes with the amenities i want...4wd, ac, stronger engine, and the price i got it for which fits my budget.

With proper skill and experience, a stock Jeep can definitely take you off the beaten path and up the billy goat trails. Some people have little knowledge and experience and believe a Rubicon is the only capable wrangler. Great pics pluke.

Stock works well for sure. Get and keep you some some good off road tires such as the BFG KM that are on the stock Rubicon and you can go about anywhere you want or need to go. Supplement that with a good Warn winch and your fixed for the life of you jeep.

Good advice! I just picked up a '12 Sport and I myself had many questions about the effectiveness of those itty bitty stock tires.
