Brake Caliper

Here are the pics of the scary incident I had last weekend coming home from dinner the night after getting my Jeep back from 4WD after its mods. Unfortunately found out the hard way what happens when your 4WD shop doesn't tighten all the bolts when finished.

Not cool. Thankfully I had a full spare and it only cost them a new MT wheel for my now spare. Thankful nobody got hurt. All good now, but it is not a good feeling when a shotgun goes off under your front left tire and the caliper falls down and is bouncing off the wheel well.

Sorry to hear! But glad no one was hurt!! I had to fix someone's mistake before. He did a brake job to the car. The car came back the next day (and this was his day off) & they were complaining about brake noise & pulsation. Low & behold, found one caliper missing one of the bolt & the other loose. Luckily nothing else happened & I believe they didn't try to sue or anything.
