So I found a retaining clip on floor mat. It goes on break/clutch shaft. It's the clip on left side. Hardly any room. How do I get this back on? Don't want shaft falling out! Anybody have a diagram or schematic of brake/clutch assembly??

I actually figured it out. It's such bullshit as my jeep was in for a brake pedal rattle at the shop last week. Both retaining clips fell out of brake/clutch pivot shaft. Could have resulted In some bad shit!!! Idiots!!

Good you figured it out. I was going to post a diagram of the brake/clutch linkage but never found your other thread.
