brake question

i have a 2007 Sahara with 56700 on the odometer. today i was gonna replace the pads because i figured it was about time. I started in the rear and both sides had even wear and were due for replacement. The front still had slightly better than half the pad left. now i have a manual tranny and i know that helps but is that common or should i have the brakes looked at. i just think 57k on the clocks would be a lot for brakes and especially to have half a pad left. thoughts?

I also have an 07 Sahara with about 40K miles. I changed the rear at about 30K miles and the original front pads still have about 25% left on them.
Seems to be normal for the JK, as a friend with an 08 is seeing the same wear pattern.
