Yep, on page 16 it is listed in the paragraph about the Sahara.

However, scroll down to page 25 for the chart of standard/optional equipment, lockers are only listed for the Rubicon.

So...

Sometimes I find it's a good idea to re-post this valuable thread:

It's a limited slip differential.

Maybe it is like the 2012 ford raptors new torsional front axle limited slip. But I dought it as ford is lightyears ahead of Chrysler in so many respects!

Too big a ledge to hit fast. I would've either broken my wheels or popped a wheelie and rolled down the hill backward.

In the real world, there aren't all that many opportunities to lock your diffs.
But when you need it, when push comes to shove, there's no better traction-aiding device. When BLD and LSD don't get you up the hill, you get out and winch or you lock your diffs.

Hi

Here You can se a difference between vehicle with lockers and vehicle without lockers, read the text under the film at Youtube

Air Locker vs LSD vs Traction Control

I think it is uploaded by ARB or sponsored and want to sell Air lockers, but I think it is correct.

Hi

Here the say that lockers are not only for rock climbing it is also for touring.

I think with BLD that Wrangler has is great but needs more momentum and speed and wheelspin and that could damage the vehicle and track. I would like to get lockers, but Rubicon is not for sale in Sweden and ARB air lockers are very expensive here, about 6000 dollars front and rear and with work.

Hi

I have a Suzuki Jimny and it has oppen diff and lacks traction control like BLD that Wrangler JK has. I am waiting for my sahara 2012 with BLD

A suzuki Jimny is very similar with the wrangler Tj that also lacks tractioncontrol

I found this movie that shows how much better it goes If You but air lockers to a jimny.

Difficult to find good demonstration videos with the Wrangler JK.

Jimny with lockers vs Jimny with no lockers

And Jeep BLD explained

Hi

Just want to mention that all wranglers when engaged in 4WD has a "difflock" between the rear axel and the front axel. That is why we should not drive in 4WD on asphalt.

Vehicles with permanent 4WD sometimes lacks the possibility to lock the middle "difflock" so then the Wrangler in 4WD is better that gets a stiff connection in 4WD to the rear and front axle.

So for instance in a landrover that has permanent 4wd (do not have 2WD) can drive it whit oppen middle diff on asphalt and lock it in terrain if neaded. Wranglers are always locked in 4WD.

So Landrovers for instance do not have front or rear lockers but some have tractioncontrol like BLD.

Hope You understood me, bad english

See this movie

if ARB's are to much money for you (like they are for me) and you are looking to get a set of lockers, have you thought about getting a set of aussie lockers or powertrax lockers!? these lockers dont require a compressor or drilling into your diff, they cost roughly 300 bucks shipped, and they are awesome. in my opinion, aussie lockers are the single most cost effective off road mod you can make.
