Broken 4 button keyless remote replacement help

Hi all,

My remote has been acting up the past few months. It was hit or miss on whether it would arm the alarm or not and eventually the other day it decided not to work at all. I thought maybe the battery needed replacement so I went and got a new one, opened up the remote and saw why it wasn't working. There were pieces broken off!

This is the only one that came with my 2009 Unlimited X that I bought used about 18 months ago.

Is it possible to get a replacement for this? I've searched but haven't come up with much but a used one on ebay. If I did get a replacement, how would I program it? I only use it for the alarm as I do not have automatic locks. So the lock and unlock buttons just arm and disarm the alarm.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yours does not look like a fob from Chrysler.

That's an Aftermarket FOB. Going to have to look for that brand of alarm system and see if you can get a replacement. The alarm computer is usually placed under your dash under the steering compartment. See if you can find the model number there and buy a replacement.

See of the FOB has a model number somewhere.

Like stated above, what you have is not a Chrysler product.

That does appear to be an aftermarket alarm remote.
There should be a alarm module under the dash panel that the remote interfaces with. Unless you received an owners manual for the alarm system; you will need to search under the dash panel for the module to locate the manufacturer and model of the alarm.
There usually is a programming sequence you need to go thru to activate a new remote. I would suggest you purchase more than one remote to program.
