Broken console / glove box locks

I had my jeep broken into last night and the idiot that broke in ripped the handle off of my glove box (accomplishing nothing) and actually broke the lock of my center console by breaking the plastic piece that the lock latches into (he essentially ripped the top off). I've been trying to look online for spare parts that I could possibly replace myself, but haven't been too successful. These would essentially be a replacement lock/handle for the glove box and a new locking mechanism for the center console (I'm hoping that I don't have to replace the entire console.) Model sport, year 2010.

Any help would be great. Thanks!

Thanks - I appreciate the help, but the top of the center console is still connected - it's just the piece that the top latches into on the front of the console when you close the top that is broken. It looks like I may have to have the entire thing repaired at this point - been looking this afternoon at a couple of other sites and nothing so far.

Ditto here. I haven't even tried to figure out what to do to fix the broken mess other than perhaps some duct tape to keep the glove box from smashing me in the knees whenever we drive and it swings open... I've decided it's probably best not to even lock the buggers anymore. My husband actually heard the guy popping at the glove box while we were sleeping and chased the dirty dog away!

A couple of people asked why don't I get insurance to take care of it. My insurance is lower than it has been in over ten years and the last thing I want to do is make my insurance company think I live in an unsafe neighborhood and jack my rates!

Happened to mine this weekend. I always felt that nothing should be left in a jeep that you don't want stolen so there was nothing in it. I guess the @&&hole thieves just felt like busting something when they didn't find anything so the glove box, center console and stereo were all pried open and out! None of the stuff matters to me, definitely not worth the insurance deductible and I would have paid them cash to walk away instead of trashing my jeep. I will find new locks and already have a replacement stereo installed. Just a PITA!

X2 on tuffy.

Why bother fixing it since its been proven it can be easily broken into. Just sayin.

I have the tuffy glove box and love it. Hope to upgrade center console at some point.

Isn't that the same as putting a steel door on a wood frame? If they want to get it, it's still attached to plastic.

As far as the tuffy glove box it's attached to the steel subframe behind the dash.

When they ripped mine out I went went with tuffy glove box and left the centre latchless, to get into the tuffy they'd need a cutting torch and the console if free so they can have my gas receipts, mints and sunscreen for my head. Would rather have an hour alone with the little shits, now I just leave the doors open and the jeep empty, cheaper than replacing a cut top since they're not smart enough to use zippers. I know they can't use zippers, see how their pants don't stay up?

I do the same. Stuff I want to keep goes in the glove box. The other crap goes in the center console. I do still lock the center console when I think about it. Not gonna make it too easy on these idiots.

I have the underseat box, a hidden box that sits in the wheel well in the back and the smaller tuffy rear box that takes up about a foot of the back of my JKU. Plenty of secure storage and I never lock the glove box or center console. If they will break into the Jeep they will break into the glove box and console. I'd rather not have to repair those.

I have the glove box and the rear cubby cover with a combo lock. Great place to put all my keys when needed.

Wish I could get one under my seat but sadly it won't work for my seat.
