broken "Smartbar"?

I was looking around my front bumper and noticed one of the pieces looked sheared off the "Smartbar". i dont know exactly what this little bars purpose is as the jeep still drives fine. I know the smartbar is the front sway bar disconnect but is it still okay to operate with this pieace broken? and/or how do i fix it?

Is that the swaybar link ?

Very easy and cheap to replace if so.

Yes but I don't know what that little black bar is for or where it attaches?

It almost looks like a hanger of some sort. Kinda like a muffler hanger.

Can you post se more pics? If its a sway bar link you should get that replaced and be careful on tight turns

That piece should be welded to the swaybar mount bracket.
