Brush guard, grill guard or no guard?

Who has a brush guard or grill guard? Where did you get yours and do you like it? I've read a few threads on here and seen that a lot of people find them useless or just for show? I'm not going to be doing anything crazy with my jeep, just the ocational off road excurtion, would one of these help keep my jeep from getting messed up or is it not going to make a difference?

Mostly for looks, if you're looking strictly for protection off road, start protecting the underside.

I agree, mostly for show in my opinion. But I'll say I have been telling myself that I "need" one to protect my front end in the event of a head on collision with all the deer on the country roads I live and travel on. I can't tell you how much of that is truth and how much of it is me vendicating a purchase and selling the idea to the wife
