Haha guy in Jeep. Seriously the bug splatter is on like superglue. And they're all over the windshield. I've never seen anything like it. I thought about the razor blade thing but that was a major last resort because that's gonna suck to do frankly.
I use a combo of 2 things. I live in southeast Texas and the love bugs use to be a pain.
First I take a glass cleaner called invisible glass. Comes from Walmart. It's in a dark green bottle with a yellow top. That and a micro fiber cloth will take off even the dried up stuff.
Second, after cleaning with invisible glass, Get the gallon jug of rainX that says bug wash on it. It's a lighter green colored liquid. Also found at Walmart. They have an all season one that is orange colored, which isn't supposed to freeze, but the green seems to work best for me. Make sure it's the RainX brand though. The cheap Walmart brand does not work well. Pour this into your windshield washer reservoir. Give the windshield a good spray with the wipers and you good to go! Bugs wipe right off after that! During love bug season you may have to re-apply the invisible glass stuff a couple of times but after using the RainX everything seems to come off way easier!
Says my 5 yr old "Dad, Whats the last thing that goes through a bugs mind when it hits the windshield? ..... It's butt!" Anyways I would use a degreaser like dish soap and let it soak for a few min then scrub them off with a green scouring pad. If that doesnt work I would clay bar it lol.
Random Guy: "Is there anywhere that thing cant go?"
Me: "Yea, past a gas station..."
