Bumber identification on new to me jeep

So I got this new Rubicon and it has a seriously stout bumper. But it's a little worse for wear (rust and corrosion). Plus it gives me no access to the winch for maint, and I can't get my front grill off either. Any idea what brand or model this bumper is, it looks like it did have a badge at one time. Is it even worth keeping, or should I swap it out, and if so what are some suggestions.

Thanks
Mike

It looks like an AEV bumper to me.

No joke on the rust and corrosion.. That looks pretty ruff, however those are pretty nice bumpers I would look into having it re power coated. I always wondered how they would hold up to rocks that is why I went with a stubby bumper, offer more clearance. Should you decide to pull it off that should be an easy sell for some good cash.

What brand winch is that?

Yeah, that thing will sell well even used. I would rip it off, clean it up, spray a new coat of black on it and sell it. Then you can get what you want. You can likely sell that thing used and have enough to buy a new bumper and have some change left over.

It is a Runva brand winch. I don't know what model however. I need to take the bumper off to access the winch. Also my cable came completely off the winch last night. I unspooled it to check the health of the cable and to make sure it was spooled nice and neat, and when I got out near the end it was all bunched up and nasty. Then the whole dang cable popped off. It looks like the previous owner never even screwed the line to the barrel.. So now i have to dissemble the bumper to be able to access the winch..

Thanks
Mike
