K so recently I have started to get the bump wobble, but only if I am at the 40-45 mph range. Anything below or above that speed, the wobble is no more.
First off...my set up... 2013 JKU with 3 1/2" Rancho Trail System Lift, Rancho RS9000XL shocks up front and RS5000's in rear. 315/70/17 Pro Comp Extreme A/T aired up to 28psi and the stock star style wrangler wheel. Also 1.5" wheel spacers all around. I think that covers all related parts that can cause an issue. The track bar in the kit is adjustable...I have a Pro Comp steering stabilizer and Synergy Tie-Rod. Oh and Rock Krawler after market quick discos.
Second...my trouble shooting I have crawled under and made sure all parts for suspension are tight. Both while jeep is on lift and once settled back on ground. I have inspected shocks to determine if any are blown, tracking bar is per spec for length, wheels are mounted tight and spacers as well. Quick Discos are connected and tight. Linkage for steering wheel is all snug and there is minimal play in steering box. I checked a couple other rigs and theirs are all semi loose like mine (must be a JEEP thing?). Alignment is good, and wheels are balanced.
Had it in the shop Thursday to have a once over and they looked at all the same items and everything is good and checks out. The alignment at the time was off and so was balance. They corrected these and said caster is off but there is no adjustment for this on the wrangler? I was told the suspension I installed did not need the geo correction brackets, so I never got them. Is this something now needed to return the caster to correct angles? Anyways, after all was gone through, I still have the bump wobble at the above mentioned speed.
Only thing left I can think of to check or replace (besides adding correction brackets) is my front ball joints? Any other ideas? I've gone through a few threads and trouble shot everything except for the ball joints at this point. Thanks for taking the time to read and adding any suggestions!
