bumper bar jku MOAB

Hi

I'm looking for a bar for my bumper that won't gonna get fixed to the bumper. I have the aev premium bumper without the bar on it (moab edition) and I can't find anything for it. I have the option to sell that bumper and buy the one with the bar but I'm not ready to do this.

Or maybe someone know any that can fit on my bumper. I don't mind drilling holes in it. The aev bumper with the bar is welded so can't buy the bar only. The goal is more for look and a place to attach lights. So I don't care to much about how strong it is.

Could build one but I don't think I will be able to get it painted to match the bumper.

Thx.

Check out the Maximus-3

maximus-3.com

They offer options for the stock bumper, the COD bumper, and the 10A/Rubi X bumpers (not sure which bumper you actually have)

My $.02... You can sell your bumper for pretty close to what a new one costs. Buy the premium with the bar. That option may cost you $200-300, it won't be much cheaper than finding a bar to attach to your existing bumper. And besides, the homemade version will look like crap.

If you just need to mount lights, you can do that without the bar.

Rugged Ridge has a bolt on bulbar that looks pretty good and has room for off-road lights using the AEV steel light mounts.

I think I'll go with that it looks great.

My bumper is the same then the cod. I know selling mine and buying the one with the bar is the solution but I already have some modification done to it and good luck trying to sell it in northern Alberta. Shipping it would be something I don't want to deal with.

Thx for the answer guys !!!

This is the bar from Quadratec. It can be mounted leaning forward or rearward.

Mikel01 - Can you share the part number for the bumper bar? Are you happy w it? Also curious if how strong this would be vs the aev premium front bumper (w tube).

Hi,
The part number is 76-14. A great option to selling your bumper. I have a buddy who has a similar set up, struck a buck and nothing moved. It did it's job.

I'm not super familar with how your AEV Premium Bumper mounts, but something like the Rugged Ridge Light Bar Mount may work for you. This mounts between the frame and the bumper so depending on your bumper it may or may not work. Here are the Install Instructions so you can see if it will work for you.

Let me know if you have any questions!

I can't find the 76-14 on Quadratec. Any quality difference on the Quad version or Maxximus?

That is the exact reason I need to get one! I struck a 6 point buck and totalled my car. The bad news - the deer probably died. The good news - I got a jeep a month earlier than I thought I would. Only I couldn't take the time to custom order mine.

I need to get something just like that and it is on my list of mods! Thanks for the picture! Yes, it looks great but I want one to protect my jeep in case I hit another deer - I drive up and down canyon roads and frequently you will see dead deer on the side of the road.

Curious how fast was your friend driving when he hit the deer?

I read fast, but if you are looking for the part at Qtec, its an XHD bumper loop. Should be easy to find online or in their cat.

Hey General - what specifics can you supply me on the bumper hoop. I like the look and want to buy one like it for my MOAB from quadratec. Is it the rugged ridge or which one. Thanks for information.....
