Getting the bumpers depends on where you want to buy them. Installing them only requires a ratchet and 10 - 20 minutes I think the JK has 8 bolts holding on its front bumper, I'm not sure about the rear

Welcome!
A great thing about Wranglers is that a lot of options are available. Check your shops and catalogues. I found a bunch on line. Even eBay can give you some ideas.

I didn't want a winch on mine and I went with Mopar, but a winch is available on the same bumper. Many are around $500. This one was less!

Take you time and enjoy looking.
Best of luck,
Jim

The Rugged Ridge XHD bumpers look pretty nice.

I'm considering getting a front and rear bumper for my 2010 Sahara....

I almost bought the Rugged Ridge at $499 including shipping until I found this one. Think the RR has a great look, solid and you can modify it at any time. It's a good choice.

With the tires, those in the picture are BFG M/T KM 2's. 285/70/17's.
The OEM Rubicon tires ar the BFG M/T KM 's, 255/75/17's.
I thought I needed a little more rubber on the rocks in Moab. Not sure but may have helped. Actually, my OEM are for sale.

You can check more pictures on my little web site at http://www.pcez.com/~artwest/jeep.htm

Have fun now,
Jim

The numbers are the size. Basically, the 285's are nominally 33 inches high and about 9 inches wide. The 255's are nominally 32 inches high and 8 inches wide. Both off road mud terrain type tires. The bigger the tire, the more fuel you use, but it looks cool!

hey, check out this Web site for the Rugged ridge bumper deal. Best I found and almost bought it. http://www.cseoffroad.com/xhdpb.html

Again, best of luck and enjoy.
Jim

I have the RR front bumper, hoop, rear bumper, Smittybilt XRC8-Comp Winch, Smittybilt side steps, ProComp alloy wheels, & RR hitch.
All of that together ran a little under $2,000 ---- no shipping charges since 4WheelParts doesn't charge if you pick it all up.

Tires were another $830 for this set in the pics.

If you add bumpers/winch, your springs will sag. I swapped my springs with a donor set (cost me a case of Miller Lite) from an Unlimited with tow package. Got rid of the sag.
I added the 2.5" lift ($500) later for better breakover angle and departure angle; I was tired of replacing my trailer wiring.
