Oh yeah, not worth it for me either, sorry. If you want to pay that's fine but the oem diy chop version looks just as good and a lot cheaper, imo.

I wish I could afford the Metalcloaks flat fenders but at $798 for just the front pair and $269 for rear not to mention $179 for inner front fenders, that's not going to happen. I need to be rich to own a Jeep, too many toys

i have them - paid under $500 new shipped, and i've been very pleased with them. if you do get them, do yourself a favor and toss the hardware they send in the kit in garbage and get all new lock nuts and bolts. the stuff they send seizes up very easily. they fit okay, and we will see how long the finish lasts.

Um, no. You are shopping in the wrong place then. I got ours for just over $400. Jeep Wrangler Accessories such as Jeep tops, winches, fender flares from manufactures such as BesTop, Rugged Ridge, ARB, OR Fab, Rampage and Smittybilt

Edit: and yeah we love ours. They take a beating and still look pretty darned good... They've been bent all to heck and back and scratched and still they look good.

OEM's trimmed might LOOK as good for a lot less money; but the bushwhackers are a lot more durable, My OEM's were about ready to fall off after a few good trips in the hills. Just dump the supplied self locking nuts and go the the hardware store and buy your own self locking nuts for mounting the Bushwhackers and you will be fine.
