Question buying a jk

well I'm looking for a jk 2007-2010. now i have a 98 tj i love it but i want an upgrade for my old 4 banger but now i have 3 jk that i can buy, but i don't know if its an upgrade or not?
well for my 4banger any engine is an upgrade but what about the mpg of a stock 2dr?
another question
what diff´s came with the jeep jk X dana 35 and 30?
what tire size is the max for that diff´s?
where can i buy the half doors or the soft door I HATE FULL DOORS T.T
what about the switch on the center console i think it said esp?
does the jk came with a traction control?
what modifications are a must have?
and what you think
i should get a rubicon tj 03-04 or a jk X
pros-cons?

im a not new in the off road but i will doing hard stuff my plan is to get 35´s or 37´s and lockers 4-6 inches of lift
help and thanks

I would get a X Model JK hands down over a TJ Rubicon. It'll out perform the TJ out of the box.

Plus you can run 35's very easily on a JK, a TJ would need a long arm and a ton of other parts to reach 35's.

Way, way too many questions for one post.

I've tried to put in what I can say below in red.

well for my 4banger any engine is an upgrade but what about the mpg of a stock 2dr? Depends. About 18 to 20 stock.

what diff´s came with the jeep jk X dana 35 and 30? For non-Rubis, it's a D30 front and a D44 rear. For Rubis, it's D44 front and rear. There were just a FEW 2007 JKs that came with D35 rears. Otherwise, every JK has a D44 rear.

what tire size is the max for that diff´s? Not sure what you mean. With regearing and some structual support, you can run 40s if you want. 35s is generally the limit "as is," though that'll probably warrant a regearing especially with the auto trans.

where can i buy the half doors or the soft door I HATE FULL DOORS Half doors have always been available from the factory, so you may find some used ones. Otherwise, Quadratec.com.

what about the switch on the center console i think it said esp? What about it?

does the jk came with a traction control? Yes. The ESP switch you just mentioned is part of it.

what modifications are a must have? None.

and what you think
i should get a rubicon tj 03-04 or a jk X
pros-cons? Whatever you want. Test drive both. JKs are going to be better out of the box.

im a not new in the off road but i will doing hard stuff my plan is to get 35´s or 37´s and lockers 4-6 inches of lift You don't need that much lift for a JK. 35s really only need about 2.5", 3.5" max. 4" would clear 37s easy. 6" would be for 40s, etc. Run flat flares and you can go even bigger.
