Buying a Unlimited Sport: Toss in the Soft Top?

I will likely be purchasing a new JKU tomorrow (2013) and for me. It comes with the hardtop and the sunrider delete (no soft top). For my fiance and I, however, the soft top is a must... it's a Jeep, as far as we're concerned, it's supposed to have a soft top.

Anyone have experience bargaining with their dealer to include both tops?

Good Luck, unless ordered as the dual option it will cost the dealer to buy the top. Now they may give you a top, but you will be paying for it somewhere. Then again this is my experience with Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep Dealers.

There are lots of OEM tops available, either on Ebay, Craigslist or the forums. I bought a brand new in the box top for $700 included all hardware. Did take a number of hours to assemble since the instructions just plain s##k. Good Luck let us know how you make out.

Your best bet is probably going to be finding one outside of the dealership. Look for the premium soft top, well worth the extra $$.

Make sure u ask to see if dealer can include aftermarket tops. I find the aftermarket a looks and work better. IMHO
