Arrow Buying my first JK

Hello,

Looking to buy my first JK this weekend, and have a few questions before I go out and make a purchase.

I'm looking at a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sport Manual with 14,000km for $22,000CAD.
It's equipped with a 4" Old Man Emu lift kit and 33" Mudding tires w/ rims that was professionally installed. other than that everything else is stock.

I'm buying it from the dealership so it appears in mint condition and barely used. Still has the warranty and comes with a soft top.

Now I've never owned a jeep before, always been driving cars.. so I have no knowledge at all for what to look for in a Jeep that's been modified. I'm mainly going to be using it on the street.

If anyone has any words of advice, I'd appreciate it!

*edit* Here's the link for anyone interested!

Thanks

I would see what gears it has in it. I have the 3.73 in mine and wouldn't want the higher 3.21 gears, but that is a personal thing because I like to drive fast on the interstate and with a little wind even the lower ones feel a bit weak to me.

x2. If you ever put bigger wheels on it the 3.21s would be sluggish.

Thanks 14Sport! Is 3.21 the stock gear ratio?

Tell the dealer that you want a build sheet. It will have all of the information on it.

A lot of people have them. Drive it and see what you think. I had a Nissan Titan before my Jeep so I am a little picky when it come to power because it had a big v8 in it.

Also, with a 4" lift I've heard that you could have some driveshaft problems.

Not sure about the details on that though.
