Cabin air filter for $8.00 at Amazon

I've never heard of the brand, but for cabin air I'm not worried about it. This is cheaper than any of the parts stores as far as I could find.
Hope this helps someone out and doesn't violate any forum rules. I searched the FAQ but didn't see anything about posting links to Amazon.

Where are they?

OK, yes - I just perused the 2011 Wrangler Owner's Manual (2011-Wrangler-OM-7th.pdf) and the User's Guide (2011-Wrangler-UG-5th.pdf), and I don't see any directions as to where to find this filter. Most of the ones I have seen in the past are behind the glove box, but on my wife's 300 it is actually accessed from outside, near the windshield!

I did find this information though:

A/C Air Filter — If Equipped
The A/C Filter prevents most dust and pollen from
entering the cabin. The filter acts on air coming from
outside the vehicle and recirculated air within the passenger
compartment. Refer to “Maintenance Procedures”
in “Maintaining Your Vehicle” for A/C Air Filter service
information or see your authorized dealer for service.
Refer to “Maintenance Schedules” for filter service
intervals.

So, I trundled off the "Maintaining You Vehicle", and couldn't find it. I even did a word search for the word "filter" throughout the maintenance schedule and didn't see a change requirement. So, where have I overlooked the replacement interval and location of this mysterious cabin air filter that even Amazon agrees fits my 2011 Jeep Wrangler, and wants to ship to me using Amazon Prime?

OK, back to school

I popped the glove box out (and found some fun things the PO left!) and took a look at the setup. Yup, mine looks just like the picture. I as surprised at how small the opening is for the filter Does it take one or two? They would have to be pretty narrow and long - rectangular-wise) as best I can tell. So I just pop the covers open and feed in the filter(s)?

I guess that I'll order them and try to figure it out once they get here. They are certainly less expensive than any of the other cabin filters I have to buy!

It's been a few months since my last filter change. But, I think(??) a vent rotates up (or down?) when you open the latches (or maybe you have to set the mode control dial or something?). Then there is room to insert the two filters side by side.... You'll see when you get into it.

Somebody help me here!

You have to set the control dial to a specific vent setting...but I can't remember which (floor, vent, defrost). That opens the thing up so you can get to where the filters go. Otherwise they're blocked off. Make sure you find the arrow on the filter so it's aligned in the right airflow direction.

Just looked at my new '15 Willys and slots are there but no filters. More money to Amazon. Two weeks of ownership and I've already gone with SWS, license plate holders ("Jeep"), straps to suspend hard top, seatbelt pads for ratchet straps with hard top, JWM grill protector, and last, but not least, the lifetime ext. warranty. They're killing me...

Shipping and sales tax kills this for me. Cheaper off eBay.

Haha. Well, thanks to this thread, I just spent more money. Thanks to Teasip, I had to look up the JWM grill guard. Sure seems like a nice piece, so I bought that along with the cabin air filters from Amazon!

So Teasip, have you installed yours yet by chance? Any feedback on it?

I put in the grill guard/radiator protector a week ago today. Took couple of weeks to get from north of the border. Not Oklahoma, but Canada (ba-da-bing). Any bugs seen on gloss gets wiped off each day to keep from staining.

JWM4x4. The bottom snaps to the front OEM grill "pop" out when you break them loose (just knew I had broken something else). The only drilling is three screws that attach at the bottom (?) but go into plastic that extends backward toward the engine bay. Be careful with unscrewing the parking light connectors. They were in snug, and as above, kind of "break loose" that first time you disconnect them.
