Call of Duty, Black Ops

I took my 2010 to the dealer today for an oil change. While they were doing their thing I walked around outside and looked at the Wranglers. They had a Black Ops 2dr sitting there. The price was $35,000.00+. Seemed rather steep to me.

Just a rubicon with different stickers that I guess they charge more for.

don't forget the mountain dark wheels too! I don't think it's worth any thing more than a stock Rubi JKU but I don't remember if there is something different on them. My guess is no.

It's a rubi with the mountain edition appointments (grey wheels and grille, hood decal, gas cap cover, tail light guards, etc.).

However, as I recall, only about $700 or so of that $35k was due to those appointments. That $35k is predominantly just the price of a rubi with some options--probably nav etc.

In other words, it's "rather steep" only because rubis are indeed rather steep!!

One of my teachers at school owns one of those^

I havent really got to look at it too much, and he doesnt offroad at all sadly. Its a shame I see it nearly everyday and just kinda die inside.

I do believe they are right nothing too special above JKU rubi and mountain stuff

I paid $35,400 for my Unlimited Black OPS. THe major benefit of the Black Ops Package is having 8-20 year olds think it's awesome. I have plenty of 40+ year old dads & moms turning their heads as well.

I liked the Black Ops edition, but I asked myself if I'd like it 5 years from now....and altho I do play the video game...I don't want to pay extra to advertise for someone else on my vehicle...cool accessories or not. So I bought my own decals!

I hate the game, and wouldn't advertise without due payment

I hope no one else ever buys one! I dread the day I see another one on the road. I want to be the only one.

I don't play video games. Because of that I didn't know there was a Black Ops game. It is interesting to know though. Now I see the comments about free advertising. There's always something to learn here. Now it's time to go out for breakfast before all the snow gets here today, and then get comfortable in my chair and watch the Daytona 500.

Don't think they are going after Off-Road areas in particular! One of the reasons I bought a jeep was to be able to get to some great duck hunting areas. I have been able to get into areas that bigger, heavier, and wider trucks have not been able to get to. DU is a great organization!
