There are plenty of pics online showing the underside of the hood . Here are a few I had gathered to compare to mine(although I dropped the idea)

The difference I see is the way the supporting structure under the AEV HR hood is contoured with the power dome versus the MW3/Moab hood that are not contoured. I will compare the pic of the HR hood with mine and go from there.

MW3 models are nice, but I wish they had the full hood venting. Jeep took the short cut on you guys IMO. Still nice though.

So you did not receive any documents unique to the COD MW3?
Nor did I.
Perhaps, we were supposed to get this:

Pretty sure that's just a brochure from the dealership and wouldn't have come with the Jeep new.

Thank you for the response.

Walc-No I did not get anything! DARCARS has not given me god service at all.

Also I bought that brochure so when people ask me what is special about my jeep I will just say, "read this."

When you give it to people to read, at night, the flashlight will be handy. Likewise, the knife, if anyone makes derogatory comments.
I was tempted to buy one myself. I may still do so.
I'm sorry to hear that you have not had a good experience with Darcars Jeep - Rockville. Mine has been very good. A few days after my purchase, I discovered the jack was missing, along with a seatbelt trim piece. My salesman, Neil Frederick promptly got the items ordered and shipped to me. When my new tags came in, the girl that called said I needed to pick them up at the dealership, which is a 300 mile roundtrip. The sales mgr had them overnighted to me.
I'm the first to complain, if I get poor service. So, I try to praise those who live up to their promises.

I didn't know there was anything other than a couple of screws.

I would not use screws to screw through the holes on the bumper because that would kill this coating.

So on the brochure I purchased it says that the power dome hood is actually a heat reduction hood. I wonder if that is a way to get the real AEV hoods?

I did have some problem with service and after contacting VP of darcars all is well and I have some pics soon. While it was nightmare I ended up on top and happy.
Also for everyone who didnt get a Hard book and such with their jeep you can get it by calling jeep. I had a question about my top and a rep from jeep contacted me saying she was going to send a hard book, uconnect book and warranty book i believe. All that plus the dvd jeep soft user manual and canvas case you should have with your MW3.

Also those with auto trans my dealership have the recall parts in. So you can get your recall work done. I also was advised to contact road safety about our hoods.

I wonder if we file a false advertising suit we can get them replaced too. Once I can get an e-copy I will start with Jeep and go from there for the hood. Strength in number though!!

It drains into the engine compartment. Think about it like this. You will drive in water and mud so how will rain water be bad? If you are really worried get some grease and start greasing you electrical connections.

Huh?
My COD MW3 front bumper has 2 screw holes, lined with poly inserts, and 2 screws to attach the front license plate.

Since I didn't buy my new/leftover 2012 COD MW3, until 9/7/13, I already knew that the hood wasn't the "full" AEV heat reduction and didn't drain and that the "winch ready bumper" required an additional kit. However, I do wish the birdbath drained. Of course, obviously, these matters weren't deal-breakers. I bought mine anyway.
Also, from research on another board and posts by a car salesman, who was giving them away (all gone- 2 years ago ), the iPad kits had to be separately purchased by dealers who gave them away as advertising promos.
