Well I have an update for you guys!

here's the bad news:

So, the other day I went to get an oil change and tire rotation and to my surprise...the front tires were dry rotted, warn pretty bad in some spots and starting to crack all over. My buddy and i inspected the tire and they were dated for 2007. However...

The good news: I took it back to the dealer and out of a business decision to staying loyal to a customer, they're gonna replace the two bad tires free of charge! going today to get them put on !

So, now I have a brand new set of tires (back two were replaced in December, 2012) and time to save for some mods.

First mod to come: New Wheels! Stay tuned!

Thanks Man...right back at ya! Love Red Rock Crystal...get a lot of compliments on it and only had it about 2 weeks!

How do you like the Teraflex leveling kit? I thought about going that route to hold me over for a while.

That is exactly what I did, put the Teraflex leveling kit to hold me over until I can swap out the whole suspension. I just did the spacer kit and it was an easy install and it rides fine. I don't have the stiffer stock springs and I did get a little sag in the front when I added my front bumper. I may have to get some stiffer springs when I add a winch.

Well, I decided to dip my wheels with Plastidip and I gotta say...they came out amazing! looks like it came from the factory! A friend of mine is starting his own side business dipping cars, so I figured id help him out- truly amazing work!

1.5 Terafelx Leveling Kit

Hey all!

I know its been a few months since any update, however, I am finally getting around to doing some decent modifications to the JK.

Today, I installed the Teraflex 1.5 Leveling kit and the stance is right where I want it to be! To me, IMO, the ride is tighter but still has that stock feel which is one of the reasons why I didn't go with a full blown suspension lift right now.

Installation was a breeze! A friend had access to a rotary car lift (Mechanic) so things went along faster than a driveway Job. For the first time, since owning a jeep, we ran into no issues at all! Usually something has to break either on the jeep or us....LOL. For anyone thats going to attempt this, I recommend, unbolting the brake lines and everything attached to the axle to ensure nothing breaks as the lines started getting more tension than I liked as we dropped the axle to remove the springs. All in all, was a blast and am very happy with the results!

Thank you, Sir! Seriously, i don't know why Jeep replaced it with the Deep Cherry Clear....I love the deep brown and red hues in this color! Its Crimson or Brick Red to me IMO. I was going to trade her in for a 2014 but...this color is just too nice to lose!

I will post a picture of it on a level surface so you can all see the difference. My driveway is sloped.

FYI, next mod is JCR Offroad Stage 2 Rock Sliders

Dr. Evil!

Thanks man! I will tell ya, that thing drives much tighter with the front stiffened up! No more nose dive at the press of the brake LOL. Strongly considering ordering an OR-Fab front bumper as well. You have the mid-width correct?
Been looking at JCR Offroad as well...awesome craftsmanship on these two companies!

JcrOffroad, Inc.

thanks for the input, appreciate it!

Great start on a beautiful jeep. I just came from a short rubicon. I am missing just how much they can turn on a dime. But I do love my extra room.

Ah that's right...after meticukously looking at OR-Fab, poison spyder and JCR offroad products I have made decision:

JCRoffroad stubby dagger series winch stinger front bumper w/ skid! I chose this for its aggressive nature, light weight, stance and it will match the rocksliders! What you guys think?

I don't do rock krawling so the stinger is just for looks, but I am impressed with the coverage for a stubby!

Gunner! Thanks for chiming in, sir! I wanted a unlimited but I couldn't pass up the low miles and package. Definitely turns on a dime...especially with the leveling kit
