I have a preference for full width bars and picked the ARB for price (got one second hand), personal preference is the AEV:

This is mine:

AEV:

I haven't changed mine yet,but I would like to weigh in with my opinion though.I like the ones like AEV where the bumper rises up to meet the JK's fender flares! This kind to me shows great style and flair. It really adds to the Wrangler's look!

Full width bumpers are stylish, but they get in the way on the trail. My mid width gets in the way more than you would think. This is my Lod, which is very stout

I use "Olympic" rock series-for the front/w trailer hitch

Weighs a coup;e pounds more than the stocker and costs around $270 bucks-

Rugged Ridge XHD, with winch and and end caps....I like the end caps for DD.... however they easily remove for offroad....note most of thyese bumpers are pretty heavy and then the winch adds more weight...I would suggest lifting first to avoid the front end sag (I wish I had) I'll be lifting 2.5" in about 2 or 3 weeks can't wait

XHD with storage ends. Good place to keep straps and such.

Have to get a lift before I add winch.
