Can it hurry up and snow already?

Am I the only crazy idiot that can't wait for it to snow? First time Jeep owner and while everyone I know looks at me like I am crazy, I can't wait to see what this thing can do in the snow.

I have a few rural dirt roads that I want to drive through.

Any advice?

I feel your pain. I've had mine about a month and want to have a little fun in the snow, since I missed being able to drive with the top and doors off this summer

I concur. After last years blizzard, heading out afterwards to see the aftermath was amazing. Cruising through the neighborhood and aiming for snow drifts was a blast. The best part was that the Jeep was in the garage for the storm. After shoveling the 5 fot high snow plow pile at the end of the driveway, I headed out. Picture a perfectly snow-free Dozer Jeep cruising around the neighborhood while peoples vehicles were buried. Many a jealous eye watched...

And that was with the stock 18" duellers/Sahara wheels. Now with the new wheels and 33 DuraTracs on, I am even more excited to check out the snow.

Yes....my advice is to....wait for it to snow, or go somewhere that already has snow!

I feel your pain. First winter I had my rig it snowed .5" one day and melted the next. Was very upset.

The last year we got a foot on Christmas Day. Best Christmas present ever? I dropped her in 4hi and drove around, no issues.

This year if/when it snows I'm going on a proper trail ride.

The beauty of living in AZ, nice weather in Phoenix and a few short hours to do some snowboarding. Now, just need my duratracs since the factory tires are about toast.

I really enjoyed last winter, much more than I thought I would. Cruising through heavy snow covered roads is right on the same level of enjoyment as a great summer day sans top/doors.

I sure hope your jeep is NOT your first 4x4 vehicle or your dead. I see this every winter here in Michigan. Of all the vehicle's here up side down in the middle of the highway 99% of them are 4x4 with newbe behind the wheel.
It says first time jeep owner hope you know just because you can cruze right threw the snow it doesn't stop any faster. Have fun and be safe we got 2 inch of snow today.

It's always Dodge RAM truck drivers though, haven't seen too many Jeeps on the side of the road in the mountains

This. And its a fairly short drive up to Flagstaff, the Rim or etc if one was inclined to play in white stuff.

I hope its true...you know how they like to toy with us when the first snow is coming - especially if it's around the holidays! I did notice they've got the sal trucks positioned on the turnpike though...

I can't wait for the snow either, but a nod goes to the wisdom mentioned earlier, watch out for that ice and be safe.

Since we bought our Sahara last winter it is the first time we've ever wished for lots of snow. A 14" blizzard made our wish come true and we're hoping for more of the same this winter.

Rosie is jumping up and down in the garage, waiting for more of it.

Left there 4 months ago. Too hot, muggy, buggy and rains too much oh yea and the wheeling sucks. Other than that the beach is nice.
