Can't Decide on Color

Will be buying my first Jeep soon. Initially I wanted White, never had a white vehicle before. Then I liked the Dune because it kind of looks military. But I also like Granite, it's similar to my current car color. I'm so confused as they all look good.

I've only seen White and Dune in person, wish I could see all three side by side in person to help me decide. It's been 8 years since I purchased a new vehicle, I know I'm ready for a change. Most of all I'm looking forward to a Jeep Wrangler lifestyle. Some of my friends have tried to talk me into other manufactures versions of the Jeep. But I guess they don't get it, there is only one true Jeep which others have tried to copy.

Hahahaha what ever color you decide on will become your favorite. You'll see it is about the mods more than the color when you get right down to it.

I've always been a big fan of white, so that is the direction I went with my new Wrangler. That said, the above poster hit it right on the head, the mods can define the Jeep more than the color.

Here is a little white inspiration if you are in need

I like color in my jeeps, mainly because jeep colors are fun. White is a good color to have though, as it hides dings and scratches.

I just bought a new jeep in anvil color. Was going for white but the anvil was so cool and different that I chose it. Battleship grey color...very flat color no sparkle in the paint at all. Impulse decision...hope I like it long term! The color I mean!

I know I definitely don't like the Anvil color, it looks like primer to me. It would have looked better in metal flake.

I prefer colors that let a vehicle blend in and not be noticed so much. I don't want to be noticed for theft or a ticket if I'm going a tad over the speed limit.

I was between the Billet and Granite. I ended up with granite because it looks good and every other jeep I saw was billet. I wanted to be a little different. From everything I read 2014 is the only year they are making the granite.

Copperhead was my favorite. But I am an Alabama fan living in Alabama. I can't have an orange vehicle. Or any shade close to orange. If you're a college football fan you should know why.

I went with Granite. Love it. I haven't see another one like it on the road since I got it 3 months ago.

Anvil all the way. The wife about cried when I brought it home. Hated the color. Now she really likes it.

I had ordered a Billet in December of 2012. Then I realized that every fifth vehicle on the road is a shade of silver so that's when I went in and ordered a Dune Moab edition. I have only seen two other Dune's in the year and a half I've had my Jeep, and that includes traveling across the country. I love having a color nobody else has.

Pics before and after plasti-dipping my grille.

I had a choice between white, anvil and dune. Chose dune. The color is discontinued for 15 and was a late 13 and 14 model year only color. Love it and don't regret it at all. Black accents look great on it IMHO! Here's mine so far

To all you Anvil advocates posting to my thread, thanks but I'm not interested in this color. Nice try though.

White, Dune or Granite is what I'm leaning towards. I have to say that Dune with the black accents are very nice, probably even better with tan seats.

Another consideration for my color choice is being able to easily touch up any scratches. Often times touch up paint doesn't blend in very well, depending on the color.

White is nice. My wife has white on black on her car(not a Jeep). Would have been my choice if I did not like the color that shall not be named so much with the red interior accents.

If you are looking to hot rod and speed I think you are going to be surprised. My Jeep slowed me down a lot.

For me, it was between White and Crystal Granite Metallic. My former car was white. As I love to detail my vehicles, white just doesn't shine like a darker colored vehicle after you polish and wax it. So, I decided to go with the Crystal Granite Metallic, especially because the metallic in it has a few different hues depending on the light. I know scratches are not easy to touch up on metallic paint schemes, so that's why I had a shop apply XPEL paint protection film a week or so after I got my Wrangler.

Billet Silver is the choice I went with. The salesman actually talked me out of the Anvil. But of the three I would choose the Granite. Good luck.

In the parts of Canada where it snows a lot white always looks dirty but doesn't show scratches. Black shows scratches. Billet is not my favorite color but never looks dirty. Nothing else really stands out to me for any other colors I have owned; I didn't notice any obvious characteristics with yellow, purple, red or blue.

Wife picked the Hydro Blue on a 2015 JKRU... I wasn't sold on it until I saw an Oscar Mike with that color. Something about the color looked good

3.5" Rock Krawler X Factor suspension, 18" Rock Star 2 wheels and 35" Nitto Trail Grapplers.

The setup is great and rides better and quieter than I thought it would.

Got the 2014 Dune a week ago. Incredible color IMO, and especially after I saw it in person and saw was not going to be continued in 15. The color does great with dust and dirt. Front doors off and top panels off for the first time yesterday. Heading to the mountains next weekend.

Don't buy a Wrangler because you'll get noticed regardless of what color it is

I agree 100% Digger. I don't remember anyone ever coming up to me to talk about my wife's Kia (and I am very thankful for that...)

Color is totally subjective. You can't listen to someone else. Buy which ever color you like best and be happy with it. If you are trying to decide between A and B remember that after a month of owning you may think you should have bought the other color. But had you bought the other color you'd feel the same way once used to it.
