Do you have a spiderweb? They do help, but yea, I guess if it was that hot I'd probably drive the Charger if I had to look like anything when I got where I was going...

Stick with the SpiderWeb. No need for the front header. Plus you can leave it on even with the hard top on.

^^^ what golf spaz said.. Besides I didn't see the JK listed on that link. Spiderwebs are waaaaay too easy to install, and work too well to fool with a header... JMO! Love mine even tho' it hasn't been on the Jeep yet this year...

Went topless today for a ride down Route 9W past West Point and into Bear Mountain State Park.....88 degrees or so but not too bad in the shade of the trees! Drove up Perkin's Lookout and could barely see NYC through the haze. Nice ride....love my Jeep!

We generally top out at and average of 110 during the summer. We have our few 115 and 118 days here and there... you're right though... your brain gets fried after 100 and you can no longer tell how hot, just that it is hot.

The part I hate the most though, is the lack if rain. I would give anything for a nice rain just once a month. Something different for a change. My plan is to move to S. Carolina within the next ten years. I would enjoy their weather for sure!

I'm afraid the Nevada desert doesn't leave much chance for "topless"

Pretty hot, pretty cold, pretty windy, May is the best month, a little cool, a little warm-rain quickly !!

Yeah, there and AZ suck! Generally when summer hits I book it to the Utah mountains every other weekend for a break from the heat. It's so nice up there! 70-80 during the day 60's at night. Beautiful... screw the ugly dirt, rock and bush desert! ha ha!
