CD Player

I've owned my '12 JKUR for 9 days. This past weekend we were listening to cd's during our cruise. I noticed that the cd skipped on a regular basis. We put in another cd, thinking our daughter scratched the cd, and then the same thing happened. I've since put in the newest cd I own and it skips, too. I couldn't begin to tell you which radio I have....it has Sirius, a subwoffer and doesn't have navigation. The other day on the way to work I turned the volume and bass down a bit, thinking it was overheating or something, and it still skipped. Any ideas?

Yeah its a lemon. I have been unable to make my 07 CD player skip even while beating on it on the trail.

lol cd players are getting obsolete. I was cleaning out my garage couple months back and my nephew saw a bunch of my cassettes from the 90's...He asked "wth is that". cd's are going in the same direction as the dodo birds.
