Center Console Lock Cylinder Problems

I purchased my 2012 JKU on Friday and the the plastic lock cylinder for the center console was not installed but just sitting in the top tray of the console. I have been trying to install it, but have had no luck. Since its plastic I don't want to break it. The cylinder fits the key to the jeep and you can see all of the pins shift when the key is inserted.

I'd really appreciate it if anyone could give me some tips on how to install this lock. If not I guess I'll just have to take it back to a dealer.

Thanks!

It's brand new and under warrenty. That's a dealer problem. Let them do it.
Small item, maybe wait till there are other things to correct.

I have solved the problem. I went to the dealership and the service director started telling me I needed to make an appointment and that there was special clip that is needed, etc. He had never seen this before and had no idea how to fix it blah blah blah I set up my appointment and then got back in the JK to only try fixing it one last time and I was successful. Before, I guess I was just a little worried about breaking the plastic parts in the locking mechanism.
