Champion winch???

I was given a Champion Winch as a present for my JK.

Knowing of Warn only, what is everyone's thoughts on this brand? Will this fit on my JK with any upgraded bumper with winch mounting locations?

Thanks!

I've had a Champion winch on my JK for almost a year and it's pulled me out of some pretty tight spots. That being said, it doesn't have the pull speed of some of the "big name" winches. However, it's FREE! Who gives a crap of you put it on and it's slow? It didn't cost you a penny.

P.s. that why I have a Champion too. Xmas gift.

Exactly -- Nice! So any front bumper with a winch mounting location will bolt up fine?!?

Do you have any pics of yours? installed?

How hard was the install???

I can't confirm that any plate or bumper will work but, I can't imagine you'll have any big issues. Install took about an hour to mount my plate and attach winch. I have the 8,000 lb but, I'll post a pic once I can find one.

This is the only one I could find. Ignore the Hawse fairlead, I was switching to synthetic line.

This is just about the worst situation that it pulled me out of. It pulled me straight up that ditch, about a 60-70 degree slope.

Costco

I saw the same one in Costco of all places last week. They were asking about $360 for it.

Flip it over and measure the mounting holes. 10"x4.5" hole centers is the standard dimensions
