Exclamation chance of airbag deploying while driving? hope not.

Hello everyone! I have an 08' 4 door sahara unlimited and about a month ago I left my big green machine out in the rain, and now the horn is honking on its own. This started to happen late at night so I couldn't call it in and see what the problem was, and I'm sure it is just because of the water. But now, since I tried to yank the top half of the horn out a little bit more, thinking it was just pressed in too far, I'm afraid the airbag will deploy at random..Is that possible? I'm afraid to drive now thinking, at any moment it will deploy..

hopefully you won't have that problem. My friend has a VW, and was driving down the road at 80 MPH and his airbags went off randomly one night. luckily, he didn't crash, but talk about a massive scare.

As mentioned by the previous members, take it to the dealer. This is why I drove my sales man crazy not buying the wrangler he had instock with the seats that have side curtain airbags in them. Removing the seats or adding skins and or covers is a royal pain in the A$$.

For you own safety, have it checked. Good luck
