Changing diff fluids

Can I do myself?? What do I use to measure/put fluid in with?? Wanna switch to synth as I'm doing lots of towing lately!

Question: I just had an LSD installed in the rear so this says I should use synthetic that should have a friction modifier.

Would it be ok to use the same fluid in the front? Just making sure I don't have to deal with 2 different fluid types.

Installer recommending I do a fluid change After the first 500 miles. Went ahead and orders some aftermarket covers. Am now getting all my ducks in a row as I've never messed with diffs and prefer to do the maintenance myself.
