Chassis Greasing

I got my 2012 Rubi serviced yesterday, second oil change, rotate and balance tires.

On the list of things they did was lubricate the chassis. When I do my own oil changes is this something that I should be doing? If so, at what points? I haven't had a vehicle that required this since the '90s.

Thanks in advance.

You're right. There are no chassis lube points on the JK.

What you meant was, "one of the things they SAID they did."

On their invoices a lot of times they'll automatically have lube, oil, filter, even though there's nothing to lube. Just a hold over I guess.

You only added them because you enjoy pumping your grease gun.

Giving the service tech the benefit of the doubt, maybe he followed the Jeep recommendation to check and grease the door latches if needed, at each oil change., and the only way to come close to logging that was a "chassis lube"

Nope. Not the stock ones. Many aftermarket replacements do, like JIMBOX's Jeep's ball joints.
