I just went to o'reilly's and picked up a pair of the adjustable blind spot mirrors for 2.99. Used some left over hook and loop Velcro to fasten them to the ac vents. Because they adjust, I have great visibility. Hopefully that will do the trick.

This is definitely an awesome post!!! I really like the idea of the emergency gate JIMBOX! Simple, but practical

I wonder about the grill mesh though...does anyone know/think its affected airflow? It looks good and is very tempting...too bad I didn't find out about this earlier cuz I've got some locust-sized flies stuck in it already...

My mods are all "soft goods" (since I can sew )...so I've got custom sunvisor covers, Jeep blankets, etc. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions for "soft goods"

Bump...anyone come up with any new inexpensive mods in the past few months? This was one of my favorite threads in the TJ forum with my old jeep.

I have some a pillar lights mounted and the radio antenna hit them, so I rotated it backwards to be more parallel with the a pillar. Easy to do, and looms better than that stupid bar they included to keep the light and antenna from hitting.

Put a twist in your seatbelts to keep them from flapping around when your doorless and topless.

Made a coat hanger and mag light holder from parts from wal-mart camping section for < $6

2 x 1" straps
2 buckle kits
1 loop kit (can't recall exact name, will update later)

use parts from buckle kits to keep strap from coming loose
used 1 1/2" loop from kit for clothes hanger

Will add pictures later when i update.

Don't remember seeing the rear seat mod. It works good for older kids and grown ups in the back. Basically you add washers to the back seat brackets to get a better bucket seat and recline

Are you serious?

No, of course not. It'll just mean the paint on your grille will no longer be covered.

Yes.

And again, this (obviously) means that Chrysler won't warranty any problems you have with your bedliner. But that's it.

I really like the bedlined grille look.

This mod seems simple enough but does anybody know why the mirror isn't already flipped from the factory?

I flipped the mirror and it didn't stay that way for 30 minutes. I don't know what it was, but for some reason that just didn't work for us.
