Cheap Mods

I'm looking for some cheap mods to do to my jeep until I can save up some cash for a lift and some new wheels. Anybody got any good ideas?

There's a whole thread dedicated to this. Use the search feature dude.

But.., shorty antenna, plasti dip multiple things(grill, cowls, wheels, emblems), DYI grill insert, chopped fenders, breather tube extensions (highly recommend).. And much more...

How do you plan on using your Jeep? Mods could go one way or the other depending on use.

One mod that I did that's easy to do but is on the high end of cheap (relative to more major mods) was Smittybilts G.E.A.R. seat covers. They allow just a little bit more storage space and keep the small stuff that you may need/want on the trail or for camping withing easy reach.

Individual covers: Smittybilt 5661024 - Smittybilt Front G.E.A.R. Seat Cover for 76-13 Jeep® CJ, Wrangler YJ, TJ, JK, TJ Unlimited & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec

Two seats and the tailgate: Smittybilt Front G.E.A.R. Seat Covers with Tailgate Cover for 07-13 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec

My jeep is my everyday vehicle I drive back and forth from work 10 miles one way, but I'm looking to do some offroading on the weekends. Due to the short commute I could do a little more to it than if I had to drive alot farther each day.

Yeah i would say figure out exactly what you are going to do with your rig. I did a bunch of cosmetic mods first and had a few more planned but.....went wheeling and fell in love...now those cosmetic mods are on the backburner to make the rig more trail ready!!
