I hope it is better than their service. I ordered thousands of dollars worth of parts from a few different companies and they are the only ones that sent me a "your order is being processed" email but nothing else (that was 9 days ago)...No email saying your order has been shipped, or tracking number, or nothing.

Not real happy with this if you cant tell

Well, I am in Egypt right now so tracking and emails are very important to me right now.
Not an issue with Quadratec or Discount tire direct or 4x4 spod....All the other companies I ordered from at the same time that all sent me tracking numbers and many updated emails.

Ive had nothing but great service, although my buddy made a large purchase and some of his larger items were delayed a bit. As mentioned give Dave a call he will square you away. I wish they carried everything I was looking for because I like dealing with them, they are very good at what they do.

Ok, an update in the interest of their service and my situation.

I emailed them and got a reply right away...Point for them!

Turns out they shipped my order the same day I ordered it....Point for them!

They sent an email saying the order was being processed...Point for them!

They did not send a shipping confirmation or tracking number...One point lost.

Now, in all fairness to them, had I been home, this would not have been an issue I don’t think as I would have been there to see the packages had arrived (which after calling the shop I had them sent to, they are there).

So, even though I always like good email communication when buying things, I can't really fault them for anything here and I now would feel comfortable about ordering from them again.

It appears too many people are checking their new site out today. I just tried at got:
"Bandwidth Limit Exceeded
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to the site owner reaching his/her bandwidth limit. Please try again later. "

You always have to call whenever you order anything online not matter who you order your stuff through. With all that can go wrong with electronic ordering systems NOT calling to confirm your order is just being stupid.

Just a quick update for you guys. Just got a message back from the Northridge guys. They said they are still working on getting the new site up to speed, but the shipping conf/tracking will be a non issue with the new site. They said this was a main focus for us customers.

Well, I have ordered 10s of thousands of dollars woth of stuff online without issue (knock on wood). 99% of the time I get emails when orders get processed, when they ship, and a tracking number.
It is just the way things should be these days and what I expect if the company wants me to return in the future.

In this case, I forgive them as they are changing things up, and they emailed me right back a few times explaining. I understand things do happen and all is well with me and these guys
