Impossible to say. You can read tons of threads on a lot of forums, and honestly, actual delivery times for ordered Jeeps are all over the map. I've seen as short as a few weeks, to as long as 3-4 months. There are just too many variables, and almost all of them are out of your control. The model/color/options you choose play a role, the various logistical timing of the assembly line and delivery methods, parts availability at the factory, etc., etc.

Frankly, it all comes down to luck. Personally, I'd rather get exactly what I want and wait an extra 6-8 weeks (the average, I'd say) than settle on even one option - but not everyone's like that.

FWIW, I ordered on 10/6, it didn't even get scheduled for production for a month (11/4), it wasn't built until 2 weeks after that...and it's still "Staged for Shipment" - whatever that actually means. It'll probably be here next week, just shy of 2 months. I suspect (but could never prove) that if I had ordered it right at the end of October, I still would have gotten that early Nov production slot (based on the combination of stuff I ordered being built at that time) - and my total order time would have been just 4-5 weeks....but that's just an educated guess.

The other plus to ordering is you get to research mods for about two months and order stuff to have ready and waiting when the Jeep gets here! I've already bought tires, rock rails, headlights, canvas cargo liner, the lockpick/camera, and a few other things...

Typical of what big business does-Puts out a worthless system like VOTS because they think customers were getting to much info using Insight. My advise to them-an informed customer is a happier customer.

Thanks!! I had a bare bones wrangler for 10 years around college age and sold it 6 years ago for a convertible mustang.. I miss the Jeep every day!!

I have a feeling this one is going to cost me I started wanting a base sport and now I'm ordering a dual top (dozer) sahara with 730 nav and leather.

My wish list at Quadratic is getting a bit out of control.... SO EXCITED!!

Now if I could just get the GF to share my excitement

It might be hard for the GF. She may be a bit jealous if she realizes where she fits in. What comes first the Jeep or the GF?
I mean to say: what comes first - the hot GF or the hot JEEP.
She might fear the JEEP, your relationship with the JEEP is a lot more simple, a JEEP does not complain, Gas and GO, You can ride your JEEP whenever you like, unlike most GFs.
Also GFs are a lot higher maintenance over time.

LOL.. reminds me of a why a beer is better than a woman poster I read once. For sure my brilliant little hottie engineer gf (soon to be fiancé) comes first every time but she is going to look good in a jeep!!

She may get a little jealous though.. I have been spending an obscene amount of time looking at various accessories for a jeep I have yet to drive. The other night she walked in the room and I shut my Macbook so fast you would think I was looking at XXX sites Ya I know I’m getting crazy but its so much fun!

Biggest problem so far.. she thinks its not safe for me to drive without the doors on … The closest I can come to compromise on this is to put on the tube doors when she’s in the jeep.

VOTS was spot on for me, so hopefully it means they've worked out the kinks.

Having said that, I did enjoy Insight's level of detail much more than VOTS' level of detail

I ordered 10/15 and it got scheduled for build 11/12. Today is the first sign of any progress. VOTS is reporting that my Jeep is being painted today.

I wonder if the timing with the Holiday tomorrow might mean anything significant with the reliability of the Jeep. Others have said that they don't want theirs built on a Friday or Monday. Mine is being built on Turkey day...

We were off by a few days. I ordered 10/17, got scheduled for build 11/10, and it was built yesterday (11/22.) VOTS shows it as being on its way today.

I am glad that it was built on a Tuesday and not the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. No idea if it's true that Monday-/Friday-built JK's have more problems or not, but why tempt faith?

Hope we both get ours very soon!

I was just thinking, you could make a fair amount of money charging for access to Insight or whatever the new system is called.

I'm sure a lot of obsessed jeepers would fork over $30 to be able to track their new jeeps from the factory to the dealer.

Sad that Chrysler is cutting everyone off when they have a great tool already in place that works and people find very valuable. I wonder what the real reason is.?

Probably some territorial power-tripping "C" level idiot that wouldn't know a good business decision if it bit him in the ass decided to punish the most loyal group of Jeep customers they have (us and other forum users) because he feels his toes were stepped on. I fail to see the harm this could cause. Oh well. C'est la vie.
LOL, I have always thought of "C" level people to be the top.. CEO, COO, CFO... act,
