I assume you can remove the rear seat on the JKU just like the JK?

I have a 2dr and never considered the jku. A four door jeep just didnt sit right with me. Not knocking those who like the 4door, it's obviously a personal choice, but to me a jeep is a 2 door vehicle.

Not exactly! I have both a JK and a JKU. The JK seat comes out with one lever and the JKU seat must be unbolted. Not an easy job accessing bolts, but can be done. Best feature of the JKU is the rear cargo access through back doors. Personally I like driving the JK over the JKU but the JKU is the better choice for dogs and/or cargo.

I test drove the two door and liked it, but the space inside was the deciding factor for me. I take frequent trips out west and carry a lot of camping gear as well as mountain bikes, etc. I just would not have been able to carry all that stuff and passengers as well. I also like the look of the Unlimited, personally.

I have a JK and will never get rid of it but next one will be a 4dr even if I'm single! For the room alone it must be nice!

I am very close to ordering a 2014. I was originally looking at a JK, but the more I look around, the Unlimited is beginning to grow on me.
It's all about the looks...JKU all the way! There's no question about it. Plus, the ride is a whole lot more smoother, would never even know you're in a Jeep

As they would say on a gun forum I frequent, buy both!

I bought the JKU for now but a JK is in the plans for the next time I replace my other car.

I like every thing about the JKU better except the break over angle and the difficulty in getting turned around on a dead end 2 track.
