cleaner windshield yes.

I noticed that my jeep front windshield seem to catch road spray when the road was wet/damp even when I was the only rig on the road so I started looking around and figured it was spray being thrown forward from the tires thru the space between the bumper and the flares. I took an old set of mud flaps I had left over from a gmc pickup that I had laying around and dang if the windshield stays clean now.

Great idea, not so much in the looks and coolness factor IMO.

Sorry of the subject question....How did you mount the front license plate? I have the same bumper and dont have any holes in it to screw into. The flap is a great idea though.

Self tapping screws is what I used...dealer only put 2 in the bottom when I bought mine.

There are a pair of dimples in the plastic where you run the screws in.
