neighbor put them on his black jeep and looks good. I'd think on silver it would look good as well. there's a thread on these and everyone says front is easy, but side markers are rather hard to install. neighbor had tough time putting side markers on. There are pictures out there on different color jeeps. Crasy that it's $60 for plastic lenses and some bulbs.

I've got these exact lenses. I'm not that handy and managed to install them without damage/blood-shed. The only problem I had was the little pin clip on the side markers. They do come with amber bulbs.

that's the only reason why I am adding a light vinyl tint to mine instead of buying them. 24.99 per SIDE. no thanks haha.

That is a good look.
I also like it on green.

My list of mod bookmarks has been growing shorter lately too...

I did it on my maroon one. The only problem I had was the little clip that cracked on both sides as soon as it snapped in. They are still a tight fit without that clip. Changes the whole look of the front end.

I know. yesterday I went from "way too expensive for clear pieces of plastic" to "wait, that price is actually not bad for all 4...." haha....noooooo, the modification bug hasn't ended. it won't ever.

The side markers are a friggin PITA. I nearly gave up on it during the install process

I cracked the little clip on my corner markers too when I did mine. It's still a pretty tight fit. From the outside, if I apply some pressure and try to move it, it slides but not as much as to cause concern.

Got mine on ebay. Search for "JK-CR-4 Crown CLEAR Parking And Sidemarker Lamp Kit Wrangler 2007-2012" $52 shipped for both the turn signals and the side markers. They include amber bulbs. The side markers were a pain in the neck and the tabs are weak. They don't look too bad and seem to stay in place even with the broken tabs.

Yep, sides are a PITA, but they do look nice once they're installed.

Little itty-bitty black zip tie. Put the PITA pin back in,zip tie through hole on back side and no one will ever know...until you tell the World in an online forum.

I really want to do these.

1. Anyone have a link to the other thread dealing with the install?

2. Anyone do this with the rear lights too?

the install is SO easy. 5 minutes max. don't even have to remove the grille to do them. the stockers/aftermarket ones pop in and out. just disconnect the wiring for the lights, pop them out, pop in the new ones, plug the lights back in.

for the side markers, I have aftermarket fenders so the install was easy, but shouldn't be much harder with stock, the are easy to get out. pm me or anyone who installed these and we should be able to help out, but I doubt you'll need help.

Video was a big help, thanks. Couple questions:

1. Others here ave mentioned cutting the old clips/tabs to remove the side markers. In the video, they reference reusing old tabs instead of replacing with new tabs. Where can one find/buy new tabs, or do they need to be unique to the replacement part?

2. If the aftermarket side markers come with cheap or faulty tabs, couldn't you remove and swap just the new outer clear lens for the amber one, instead of replacing the whole OEM mounted part, or don't they come apart?

They appear to be glued I tried pulling a little but it wasn't obvious they would come apart without breaking
