A buddy just picked up a sweet '07 Rubicon with 3800 miles the other day. As he commutes daily about 80 miles I suggested that he should get a Clear Bra, aka "Invisible Bra," (made by 3M) for the grille, hood front, fenders and head/fog lights. When I had my clear bra installed in 2000 there was a local company called StonGard that made and installed the kits but they are out of business.
I searched Google and found a few places that had pieces, like StickerCity
(grille only) and Auto Parts Warehouse
(they say it's a hood & fender kit but I wish they had pictures of the individual pieces). Finally, I found Northwest AutoShield
, which might be ideal as my pal lives in Everett, Washington.
Has anyone here had a "full" Clear Bra kit installed on their Wrangler? Other than the grille/hood/lights/fenders, where else did you have it installed (the door handle area and rear bumper, below the tailgate, are good ideas)?
