closing the top after using sunrider

can anyone tell me if there is a trick to closing the sunrider without undoing the whole top, or is it that my top is new that it is so tight thanks s.

I just:

Pull back the sun visors
unclip the front clamps over the windshield
pull out the side moldings from back to front on both sides
slide back the two plastic sleeves, exposing the two hinges on either side of the cover
flip the sun rider part back, being sure to fold under, the material
use the black velcro strips to hold it fast, on both sides
re-position the sun visors

One thing "I" noticed with this part of the soft top is that the mechanical stops with the spring loads on both sides, don't line up as well as they should, and sometimes I can't get the clips to hold. The top doesn't go anywhere it shouldn't, and will re-install with a "click," but they don't always hold well on both sides, when being used as the substitute for the windshield clamps.

Mine doesn't quite clip in until I settle the middle support bar on the plastic clips on both sides. After that the front clips in. I did this the first few times I put the top up and now I just do it while I'm on either side. Also, mine was a little tight when it was new in August last year. Seems easier assembling it onto the vehicle now after it has been off. BTW, mine is the four door.
