So what KZ really means is your Jeep is built and now you wait for your Jeep to arrive at your dealership. Your Jeep should also be listed (or very soon it will be listed) on your dealer's website as IN TRANSIT. You should be able to view and print your window sticker.
Thanks this Friday night is looking better and better! Cheers.

Stock wheels come with bulge cone. Both regular cone and bulge cone should both have a 60 degree seat.

Do they make exhaust tips for the JK? Preferably something that does not need welding.

Easy enough to find on google, using your search term.

2014 Jeep Wrangler (JK) Exhaust Tips - JCWhitney

There were a bunch more, but I'm lazy today.

Lots of posts stating status of builds... But where are you getting those codes? Just have email saying production scheduled...

You have to beg them from your dealer or the IAJ people. I never felt like I would gain anything by knowing the current letter code. I had the ship date on day four, it shipped a day early. VOTS reflected the actual movement. Didn't see the point of knowing I went from "D" to "D1" or whatever.

Yes, but in our cases we might be interested in which code our Jeep are showing right now:

Quote:
KZ O – delayed/received

KZ OB – zone, dealer, sales, vehicle prep, tax, diversion or derailment hold, dealer refusal, vehicle diverted

KZ OC – carrier delay, strike-bound, emission or safety hold, rail car shortage, bad or insufficient load, inclement weather, need shipping order, manifest error

KZ OE – misdropped or misshipped vehicle

KZ T – second rail departure

KZ U – second rail arrival

KZ X – delivered to dealer

Especially if they are status KZ OE!!!

As long as you don't get the dreaded ZA code, your jeep will be fine!

Well I got some good new this morning, Jeep has been built! I'm now in J status and just waiting to go to KZ. Hopefully delivery won't take too long....Either way, I'm pumped to get this Jeep soon!

Pulled the trigger Thursday, ordered a jkuww, copperhead pearl with hard top. Crank windows and manual locks. Dealer says 4-6 weeks. Is that what you guys are seeing?

Probably closer to 6 weeks. Maybe longer. I'm right at 4 weeks and mine was built yesterday. Figure 1-2 weeks for shipping so I'll be right around 6 weeks hopefully.

Congrats. You screwed up your order and forgot half doors though

That's the first I've heard in this forum of a dealer saying anything less than 6 weeks. I'd plan on 8, and if it comes in sooner you're doing better than most in this group. That's basically what I'm telling myself. Has anyone received their willy in less than 7 weeks?

Actually they said the wranglers have been coming in closer to 4 weeks! But I am guessing they wanted to make me feel good

depending on where you are, my dealer messed up 2 prior orders for me...same thing you ordered, one 6 speed and one auto...might save you some time.

I looked at your profile and see you're in Michigan. It's probably accurate for you. I know people in PA get theirs by truck and it's a 2-3 day post shipment delivery. You probably get truck delivery as well. Mine was built in 3 weeks, usual shipment to east coast is 9-10 days, but I am at 5 weeks and counting. Since you get to skip the rail debacle in the northeast and you will be shipping in a warmer month, 4 weeks may be a good bet.

I am about 20 minutes from the Toledo assembly plant, would be thrilled to tour and drive my jeep home!

It seems rather odd that a company that does as many build-to-orders as Chrysler doesn't have this option.

I know BMW does it in the states, Volvo and Mercedes do it overseas, and Chevy does it if you buy a ZO6 (although you have to pay like $900). Seems like it would just further add to the experience of buying a Wrangler, and how cool would it be to be able to meet someone like ArcherAce that was one of the guys/girls who put your Jeep together!

My buddy did the whole ZO6 experience thing with Chevy a few years back and got to meet the guy that did his interior trim. He said it was one of the better times he's ever had.

FYI, if you have the app on your phone the pics will show up. Or at least they do on my iphone5. Don't show up on the site though.
