Clunk noise in drivers door

I get this clunk while going over bumps and it is very annoying. Just on the drivers side. Sounds like it's right around the door strike. The jeep is at the dealer right now getting a few other minor things fixed as well. The clunk noise they can't hear of course but I hear it every time I drive. Anyone have a similar situation and a solution to fix it? Also is the door panel a pain to remove? I know some are easy and some aren't. Not sure how it is on the jeep. I don't want any surprised while taking the panel off and don't want to break anything. Thanks in advance for any help. Oh and they gave me a Fiat to drive. YAY!

To test if it is the striker loop, put electrical tape on the loop where the latch latches onto it. If the noise goes away, leave tape there or coat with 5 minute epoxy. Problem gone.

Adjust stricker in about a 1/16 or 1/8 inch. That is what has fixed mine.

Same clunk sound on mine as well. I think it's coming from the top of the door. Haven't tried to adjust, but need to. Anyone have any luck

Are you sure it is the door around the strike? I had a clunk going into dips and the fix was to tighten the dash on the drivers side. I thought it was the A Pillar or glass or Door or whatever....I noodled around behind the steering column area after removing the plastic plates until I found a couple of bolts that attached the dash to the frame/firewall. Tightened and done.

Same rattle here and it was the door latch. I wrapped tape around the catch and it stopped. The tape fell off a while ago and no more rattle. I love when problems fix themselves.

Did some more digging into the noise and found out this plate is rubbing against the outer body. I carefully took a flat head screw driver and bent the plate inwards as shown in the picture below. This totally took my noise away. Just be careful because I pulled it a bit too hard and made a little stress mark in the paint on the other side. Not that I care but it might to you! Annoyance, BOOM ROASTED.

Picture location: right behind the door latch on the drivers side under the cloth under window frame.
