You don't get anymore horsepower. You get an AEV front bumper, rear bumper, hood, slush mats, leather MW3 seats, black wheels and a MW3 instrument cluster. Is it worth the money? Thats debatable since you can get all the parts for around 5k. But if you can get a good deal on one and you don't want to install all the parts yourself then go for it.

I love playing CoD games but if it were me I would just get a Rubicon and mod it if I had that kind of money. They were both out of my league so I went with a lowly Sport model.

It seems silly, nobody in 5 years is going to care about MW3 or maybe even remember what it is. I wouldn't want that all over my Jeep

Yeah, there isn't any more horsepower.

You could "recreate" it aftermarket for less, but it'd never be an "official" special edition. I dunno. Not for me but everyone who has them seem happy.

It's a rubicon with some upgrades and special badging. How important is that to you? And do you really need a rubicon (lockers, etc)? If you went with a Sport you could save a ton of cash and get the "look" aftermarket.

I dont know i think the Tomb Raider Jeep is still pretty though of 9 years later. The only problem i see is they have so many limited edition models now. I think they are over doing it.

It might just be me then, because it's a video game it seems silly to have plastered on the side, the seats, etc

I have a MW3 unlimited and let me tell you...
If you can get it for a good price [like I did] get it

The resale value is better than any other Wrangler model if you ever decide to sell down the road.
For the price I got it; It cushioned the depreciation for the first year.
Right now I'm in positive territory money wise if I decide to sell and very happy plus it looks KILLER!

hope that helps

cheers,
Charles

i can't stand the logo on the seats and on the dash. don't get me wrong, i love video games, but if you want all those extras w/o MW3 and don't want to install it i am sure the dealer would do it for you. can't say that it will be much cheaper, but the MW3 jeep is kinda silly ... but what do i know, i think arctics are really cool!

*edit*
btw, you might be able to get a good deal. i know the dealers are having a hard time selling them.

^^^ This.

If you think the sport is "lowly", probably should be looking at mopeds. If nothing else, they're faster.

If u like it, get it.

I like vehicles that are more limited, (it's not like it's 1/5 but still) and it hey do look really good. I have the arctic edition JKU in white with a manual. Only one west of Ontario. So it's neat knowing I probably won't see it on the road here.

Also when I got mine I had trouble finding it so I had them price out a regular sahara with all the same options, except I couldn't get the same seats. My arctic msrp was 38,000. To get a replica was 42,000. So it may be cheaper to get the mw3 them a black rubicon and do the upgrades.

A traveler has to pass tests of increasing difficulty to buy a new Special edition COD MW3 Wrangler. For the first test, he meets a pair of twins at a fork in the road: one path leads to a Wrangler sport, the other to the COD MW3 Wrangler. One of the twins always says the truth, the other always lies. What yes/no question should you ask one of the twins to determine the path that goes to the COD MW3 Wrangler?

Ahh yes, this is a classic Knights/Knaves philosophy question.

Knights = Always tell the truth
Knaves = Always lie

Might I suggest also throwing Normals into the mix, that makes it interesting.

Normals = Can be either telling the truth or lying

Btw, I know it was a joke but here is a possible answer

Ask them if they are both telling the truth:
One says "yes" (lying) the other says "no" (truth). Now you know who to trust

I think the idea of spending $40K for a Jeep is crazy! I still can't believe they even offer leather seat in Wrangler, but I guess I'm old fashioned

I actually like the looks of the MW3 edition but still can't get passed the idea of a video game inspired Jeep (or, again, the damn price tag)

MW3 Edition has that AEV hood that everyone here loves. The bumpers are kick ass too. The front AEV front bumper alone is 1,100 bucks on the AEV site. I am not sure if that is the same as the MW3 bumper, others may be able to chime in, but I think it come down to if you want the hood, and bumpers plus like the limited edition thing than its worth it. Adding those three items later is costly. For me, my kids play that game non-stop and the last thing I feel like looking at when I get in my new rig is their game.

I agree, I really like the look and overall package. However, the idea of having it being branded by the game is a huge turnoff for me

My dealer has almost all Saharas on the lot. They act surprised when I said I didnt want power windows or locks, it's a Jeep.

I can agree with this. All I see is Saharas with low gear ratios and full doors. I want half doors, upgraded gears, and a soft top, why is that so hard to find?

I wish I had gotten one! Love the seats. I talked myself out of a Rubi because I rarely went off road in my old Rubi. So I bought the Sahara this time....now I have buyers remorse. Anyone want a 2012 red sahara for $36k?

I think it's a great looking vehicle, I would just remove all the MW3 logo's. My 19 yr old plays the game so to me it's kinda of a kid thing. I know my dealer was not making any dels on the couple they had when I bought my rubicon.

Trust me, there are a lot of 50-year-old gamers out there who would kill for a ME3 version righty about now, our a Diablo III... even better. Just day dreaming as I wait for my work computer to boot up.
